Brazilian fashion designer and fashion production manager, dreamer! I always knew that I wanted to be in fashion, but I did not know what to do in the fashion industry. After working as a fashion designer, graphic designer, editorial coordinator, buyer, visual merchandiser, and fashion writer for various blogs and magazines in the South of Brazil, I realized that the fashion business has always fascinated me. I found my true passion in product development and production management.
After gaining years of experience in this field of the fashion industry, I observed a need that goes beyond assisting designers through the production stages. It involves guiding and teaching them step-by-step about fashion product development to ensure they achieve their goal of launching a successful clothing line.
What started as a blog to share my knowledge and experience within the fashion industry, as a foreigner building a career in New York City, has now become BARBARA SESSIM. It is an opportunity to help new designers who are looking to start their fashion dreams and learn everything about developing a successful clothing brand.
