BEA - Bar & Restaurant

BEA represents those cute (not so small) local places pretty well!

With indoor and outdoor space (but an actual cute and small backyard, not street tables because of covid). You will find an amazing old-school style decor with black and white movies (probably Beetlejuice) playing on their walls.

Their specialty is the drinks. A wide selection of cocktails like Maracuya Mama (my favorite!) which is Sweet, Spicy, and made with passion fruit, Coco Fashion, Lavender Monk (which is very refreshing), and many others - including espresso martini with is more than approved by the crazy espresso martini lady over here! Lol, but for real.

Yes, they do serve brunch - YAY!

Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM and yes, it is bottomless! Which is not even their best deal…

They offer a brunch prix fixe menu. You get to choose 1 appetizer, 1 share, and 1 main all for $26 plus an additional $28 for 1.5 hours of bottomless. I know… I love them too!

Besides the amazing brunch, the food there is great in general. They offer a variety from cheese plates to tuna tartare, duck turnover, English muffin burger, etc. So it is a pretty great mix between Italian and America.

No, this place is not in my hood, but it is in Hell’s Kitchen area (where I used to live). I still take trips up there just to go to Bea, so if you are around midtown, I definitely recommend stopping by.
