Ph.D. Rooftop

Stepping away from the brunch scene for a little bit, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite rooftops in the city. Ph.D. is not only one of the first rooftop tops I tried when I moved to New York, but also the first club I went to. Yes, this is a rooftop, but also a club with one of the nicest views of NYC.

Now, Ph.D. is a rooftop and obviously open to sunset parties, which are SO SICK and amazing during summer times, but it is also a nightclub. So you can either plan on getting there early for drinks and appetizers or you can plan on getting there by 11 pm and staying there dancing with your gals all night.

Now, in terms of food, as I said, do not go there for a full dinner. Go there for some appetizers. They have fries, sliders, chips and guac, and (my favorite) avocado toast.

For the drinks, well, they are a bar/nightclub, which means they have all kinds of drinks, but their specialty as a nightclub is bottom service. So, if you are down to party for real, gather your crew, reserve a table, and have them bring you the champagne bottles all night!

In terms of pricing, well, they are a TAO Group venue, so expect high prices for everything, along with an amazing service and club experience.

Side note, the DJ plays a bit of everything. From hip hop to popular pop songs and electronic music. So, do not worry, you and your friends will listen to your favorite songs.
