STONE STREET

Ok, so normally I would choose one place to talk about it, but this time let me tell you about a lovely downtown street that is full of bars and people who live in NYC do not even know about it.

As I have mentioned in previous blogs, I moved to the Financial District almost not long ago and I fell in love with this area. What people who live around midtown, Chelsea, and the Lower East Side area do not seem to know is that downtown has been fully renovated, it is clean and more alive than people think it is. Some of the most famous restaurants are located in this area and there are tons of cool bars.

Of course, it is an “old” area with a lot of old buildings and a lot of historical memories around, but honestly, I never liked Manhattan the way I do now and it is all because of the area I am in. Especially because of Stone Street, I would say…

From Brunch places to lunch and dinner, happy hour deals, taco Tuesdays, and whatever deals and types of bars you can think of, that is Stone Street.

Of course, I have a couple of favorite spots and here they are Mad Dog (for good Mexican), Route 66 (for good brunch deal and the upstairs area which is full of bar games), Adrienne’s (for a good pizza), and Ulysses (for their brunch and pretty awesome gigantic bar).

Stone Street brings a lot of life to this neighborhood and, even though it is pretty cool, a lot of people do not seem to know about it. So if you are downtown and need a place to hang with friends or just grab a quick bite in a cool spot, here is where you should go!
