Ok ok ok, we all know that summer is over. But we also know that fall is one of New Yorkers' favorite weather and, to celebrate the beautiful sunny and not so cold days, nothing better than bars and restaurants with a nice outside area. Watermark NYC is one of those places!
First of all, the place is located in downtown Manhattan, close to the seaport, and it is literally by the water. So you will enjoy a beautiful view along with an amazing vibe and drinks.
Let’s start talking about their space. They have a pretty nice set up of tents, so even if you go there in the wintertime you will be fine. They managed to put a boat in front of the restaurant - which is not only pretty cool, but the boat also works as a table. So if you plan on a small party, make sure to call ahead and reserve that table!
They currently have an Oktoberfest happening until October 24th, so if you are a beer lover and like fall Oktoberfest kind of festivities, I recommend you stop by before it is over.
Now, moving to the food, they have different menus for each occasion (happy hours, brunch, Oktoberfest, private events…) but the standard kind of food is oysters, burgers, beef sliders, chips and guacamole and, one of my favorites, four-cheese baked mac & cheese. Prices are in between $12 to $18 per dish, so it is all pretty standard prices for the area.
